1. Introduction

BetaPass is a mobile application developed and operated by Codivo ("we," "our," or "us"). BetaPass connects Android app developers with beta testers to help meet Google Play's closed testing requirements. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how it is used, and your rights regarding your personal information.

By using BetaPass, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the application.

2. Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of data:

• Account information: Name, email address, and profile photo obtained via Google Sign-In (OAuth 2.0).
• User-generated content: App listings created by developers (app name, description, Play Store URL, icon), and daily check-in screenshots submitted by testers.
• Activity data: Check-in records, session history, diamond balance, transaction logs, and leaderboard scores.
• Device information: Device type, operating system version, and app version — collected automatically for debugging and analytics purposes.
• Usage analytics: Anonymous screen navigation events collected via Google Firebase Analytics.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use collected data exclusively to:

• Authenticate users and manage accounts.
• Match developers with testers and track testing progress.
• Process diamond rewards and maintain transaction records.
• Display leaderboard rankings and user profiles.
• Send push notifications for check-in reminders, streak alerts, and reward announcements via Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM).
• Improve app stability and user experience through anonymous analytics.
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms of Use.

4. Screenshots and User Content

Testers submit daily screenshots as proof of app usage. These screenshots are:

• Stored securely in Cloudflare R2 object storage.
• Accessible only to the developer whose app is being tested and to Codivo administrators for moderation purposes.
• Periodically purged after a testing session is completed. We do not guarantee a specific deletion timeline for individual files.
• Never used for advertising, sold to third parties, or shared publicly.

You are responsible for ensuring that screenshots you submit do not contain sensitive personal information beyond what is necessary to verify app usage.

5. Completed App Data Deletion

When a testing session is marked as completed, the associated app listing and all related session data are permanently and irreversibly deleted within 3 days. This process is fully automated and cannot be undone. Users are strongly advised to save any relevant information before this period expires. Codivo shall not be liable for any loss of data resulting from this automatic deletion process.

6. Account Deletion

You may delete your BetaPass account at any time directly within the app. To delete your account, navigate to the Settings screen in the BetaPass app, select the Delete Account option, and follow the on-screen prompts to confirm the deletion. Upon account deletion, your personal data will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by applicable law. Any accumulated diamond balance is non-recoverable upon account deletion.

7. Firebase and Google Services

BetaPass uses the following Google/Firebase services:

• Firebase Authentication: Manages secure login via Google accounts.
• Firebase Firestore: Stores user profiles, app listings, session data, and transaction records.
• Firebase Analytics: Collects anonymous usage events to improve the app. No personally identifiable information is included.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM): Delivers push notifications to your device.

All Firebase services are operated by Google LLC and subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

8. Cloudflare Workers and Storage

Our backend API runs on Cloudflare Workers. User-submitted content (screenshots, app icons) is stored in Cloudflare R2. Cloudflare may process request metadata (IP addresses, timestamps) in accordance with Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

9. Diamond Rewards System

BetaPass operates an in-app diamond reward system. Diamonds are virtual credits with no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred outside the platform. Transaction logs are retained for internal record-keeping and fraud prevention purposes. Codivo reserves the right to determine retention periods at its discretion.

10. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share data only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers: Google (Firebase, FCM) and Cloudflare, solely to operate the platform.
• Legal compliance: If required by applicable law, court order, or governmental authority.
• Safety: To protect the rights, property, or safety of Codivo, our users, or the public.

11. Data Retention

• Account data is retained as long as your account is active.
• Completed app listing data and session records are permanently deleted within 3 days of completion.
• Check-in screenshots are periodically purged after session completion.
• Transaction and diamond history is retained for internal record-keeping and fraud prevention purposes at Codivo's discretion.
• Upon account deletion, personal data is permanently removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

12. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, object to or restrict certain processing, or request your data in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, contact us via our support form. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe in accordance with applicable law. Note that account deletion can be performed directly within the app without contacting us.

13. California Users (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion of your personal information, and opt out of the sale of your personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise your rights, contact us via our support form.

14. Children's Privacy

BetaPass is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has created an account, please contact us immediately and we will delete the account and associated data.

15. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), token-based authentication, and access controls. However, no system is completely secure. By using BetaPass, you acknowledge that we cannot guarantee absolute security and are not liable for unauthorized access resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

16. Changes to This Policy

Codivo reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time, at its sole discretion. Material changes will be announced via an in-app notification. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of BetaPass after the updated date constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. Users are encouraged to review this page periodically.
